No. As of September 5, 2026 Pawprint Studio has not published a single redeem code, and the game is not out until September 16. Closed-beta access keys were emailed to selected testers and cannot be redeemed for anything. Our codes page lists the day the first real code appears.

September 16, 2026 on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming, then September 23 on iOS and Android. The Steam page shows Sep 15 because a 10:00 UTC+8 launch falls on Sep 15 in US time zones.

Yes. Steam lists it as Free To Play with In-App Purchases. The only paid items before launch are the optional $9.99 Advanced and $19.99 Collector's pre-order packs on PlayStation and Xbox.

Creatures are caught in the open world, not pulled from a banner. Closed-beta players reported paid conveniences (weather changes, form changers, energy refills) and cosmetics, plus a monthly pass and Lumen Crystal bundles on the App Store listing. Whether that counts as gacha depends on your definition; see our price page for what each source actually says.

The game is spelled Aniimo, with two i's. Animo and Anemo are common misspellings (Anemo is also a Genshin Impact element), and Amiimo gets confused with Nintendo's amiibo figures.

Steam tags it Single-player, Online Co-op, Online PvP and Cross-Platform Multiplayer. Beta players describe four-player co-op exploration, a shared city called Astra, and Egg Heist, a three-player PvPvE mode. An online connection is required; there is no offline mode.

Two different things get mixed up. Pawprint Studio said in July 2026 that some advertisements were made with generative AI, apologised and pulled them, stating the game assets are hand-made. Separately, an NVIDIA ACE update after launch will let you talk to your Aniimo by voice. Neither means the creatures were AI-generated.

The official Aniimo Index lists 94 entries as of September 5, 2026 (numbers 001 to 093 plus Fennelun and Helion). Launch coverage from gamescom cites more than 200 Aniimo at launch, so expect the index to grow.

No Switch or Switch 2 version has been announced. Every official announcement lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and mobile only.

Yes. The official Discord is discord.com/invite/aniimo (linked from the Steam announcements) and the subreddit is r/Aniimo, where the official account u/Aniimo_Official posts news.

No. All three tests were data-wipe tests. The only carry-over is the single Aniimo you sealed in an egg during the Reunion Promise (Feb 2026) or Bond Pact (Jul 2026) events, claimable at launch with the same account.

Pawprint Studio develops and, since April 15, 2026, also operates the game; Kingsglory published it before that. The copyright line on aniimo.com reads Pawprint Interactive Entertainment Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-registered company, while press listings place the studio in Hangzhou, China.

Steam lists the Steam Achievements category, but the community achievements page returns an error before release (read September 5, 2026), which is normal for unreleased games. The list should populate at launch, and an achievements page is planned once it does.
